Ansty: Awesome farm based venue consisting of hilly grassland and
large woodland areas. Probably the best venue you will ever get the chance to
ride at!

|
|
Beaminster: A fast flowing event. Several miles of Ôsunken pathwaysÕ make it
totally unique. The rest of the circuit is made up of rolling grassland with
a small wood and a small boggy area available for contrast for when
conditions allow. Excellent venue used for SCEC British Championship Quad
events

– has everything (except bogs thank heavens!)
|

|
|
Hethfelton: Really nice traditional woodland venue now used by DPMCC for
their bi-annual ÔHethfeltonÕ enduro. Run as a ÔHare & HoundsÕ but on a
course intended to be more like a traditional forest enduro. Very popular
with Ôold schoolÕ riders but limited entry means youÕll have to be quick to
get in.

Inside Park: Private woodland venue near Blandford. Perfect winter venue
featuring good parking and a long flowing course of mostly woodland tracks.
Although flowing the tracks are quite rutted in places, which together with
numerous fallen trees, give the experts a chance to really show-off their
skills while numerous alternative routes around the obstacles make ÔInside
ParkÕ a firm favourite with novice riders too.

Mexe Ranges: Royal Marines training ranges at Bovington. Fantastic venue -
half sandy tracks, half woodland paths. Not technically difficult but
physically quite demanding. Used to have a bottomless bog (thankfully now a
more manageable obstacle!). We run these races in conjunction with the Royal
Marines Poole based Enduro Club, they are VERY popular and civilian entries
are limited so you have to be quick to get in.

Milton Abbas: Superb farm based venue. Mostly rolling grassland with a little
stubble and some nice woodland.
Lends itself well to our unique
ÔMaze in the MaizeÕ style event. Likely to become a firm favourite!

Okeford Hill: ÔRough CountryÕ event based on one side of Okeford Hill. Very
steep down-hills in places.
Woodland at top featuring mostly technical trails. Small stream and
bog at bottom for those that know how with much longer alternative for those
that donÕt. Some long sweeping stubble fields at the bottom give the guys a
well earned rest! Next-door to Shillingstone Forest so may well be incorporated
in SCECÕs future BEC rounds.

|
Somerley Park / Ringwood Forest: This is a vast venue and courses
here vary enormously. Wide
variety of terrain including free-drying sandy areas ideal for winter events.
Other parts of the forest feature hills, bogs and quarries more suitable for
summer events. Excellent all weather parking and access. Proposed venue for
future SCEC ÔBECÕ events.

|
Rogershill Raceway: Commercial moto-x practice track owned by expert enduro rider
Danny Hall. Features 2 long moto-x tracks with a shortish permanent enduro
loop featuring numerous ingenious man-made obstacles and a little woodland.
Great fun and venue for the Crescent Suzuki evening races.
