SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

 

1. JURISDICTION: An event for solo motorcycles, held under the National Sporting Code of the Auto Cycle Union, Standing Regulations, these Supplementary Regulations and any Final Instructions that may be issued. Permit No. ACU tba

3. INSURANCE: There is no longer personal accident cover for competitors included & we strongly advise you take out sufficient cover for your needs. The ACU brokers (Loctons Tel: 0161 242 5159) can provide additional cover on request

4. ELIGIBILITY: Open to members of SCEC (day membership available) driving Enduro,or Trail type solo motorcycles. No quads. Working lights are not required. ACU licence required (see below). Minimum age 16 years.

6. COURSE: ‘scrambles’ terrain, grassland, and woodland paths & trails. Held entirely on private land & suitable and for enthusiastic riders of all abilities

7. MACHINE EXAMINATION: 9:00 to 10:00 hrs.

10. ENTRIES: Closed when full & accepted strictly in order of receipt. Postal entries must be made on official form & sent to the Secretary of the Meeting with correct entry fee & three first class stamps. If you require confirmation etc by post please include 3 stamped addressed envelopes (note the Post Office will not deliver oversized envelopes with underpaid postage). Payment by cheque or postal order only payable to SOUTHERN COUNTIES ENDURO CLUB.

11. ENTRY FEES: Entries received and paid prior to race day: ACU licence holders - £40.00 (cheque) £42.00 (PayPal). Entry fee including ACU day licence - £50.00 (cheque) £52.00 (PayPal) Surcharge for entries received and/or paid for on race day £10.00 Cheques will not be cashed prior to 2 weeks before event.

12. NON STARTERS & ABANDONMENT: Anyone who enters this event must give at least 7 days notice in writing of non attendance to be considered for a refund. An administration charge of £10:00 will be deducted from refunds.The organisers reserve the right to postpone, alter or cancel events. In the event of unavoidable cancellation prior to the event date the organisers will retain £10.00 to cover administration and other cancellation costs. In the extremely unlikely event of forced cancellation on the day of the event the organisers may retain as much as required to cover the event costs.
